Nothing Unsaid #02: Who Is Your Coach? Do You Have A Credible Advisor?

Updated: Aug 3, 2022

Whether you are a parent, an educator or an entrepreneur, I think all of us can benefit from having a coach. Let's steal the perfect example of why this is important from the world of sport. The world's highest performing athletes (Tiger or Tom, Rory or Brooke, Steph or Christine) have coaches and/or members on their team who support their mission or goal.

Don't you think that you should too?

There isn't anyone else on the planet who is going to make the investment in yourself - like yourself.

If you are an educator, I think that your career path planning and overall competency is worth it. If you're a parent, the investment in your family and in your own skills -as a parent - can be a game changers.

Don't you want to find a coach that you can work with who has authority, experience and credibility in what you're trying to achieve?

In my opinion, the ideal candidate should be a person is is somewhat ahead of where you are currently. It should be someone who can accelerate your path without getting in your way.

I don't believe that there are many quick fixes to things that truly matter. Most of the time, the proper solution with the best outcome involves putting in the work. I intend to offer you a premium coaching experience - if you're willing to put in the work. No BS. No magic pill. Just truth, based on experience.

I am a big fan of small risk.

Here's what I mean by this... I see risk in three basic categories:

a) no risk = do nothing and stay stuck

b) high risk = all in. big stakes

c) small risk = nothing stupid or drastic, calculated, but this could have massive impact on where I want to go while not betting the farm.

Generally speaking, I think hiring a coach is a small risk. You don't have to bet the farm and you don't have to work with them forever. I think small risk is massively underrated and not presented frequently enough as a reasonable option in how we operate.

So... it's up to you.

Do you want to stay stuck or go all in? If either of these two options are where you're at, then our conversation is finished. I'm not your person.

However, if you're like me and see value in small risk, then I'm a great option for you that can provide you with guidance that is value driven. Let's get you to where you want to go, with the least amount of friction and in the shortest amount of time possible.

So, who's your coach?

That's all I have for now. Thanks for sticking with me.
