What is Kidbuilderz Snail Mail?

In a digital world that moves too fast, Kidbuilderz offers kids (ages 6-12) something rare & different—a reason to slow down and wait for something exciting. Each month, an envelope arrives curated by me - Coach Jen. The envelope contains a heartfelt letter, artwork, stickers, a card, a creative prompt & other paper surprises designed to bring joy and reflection. Each month will bring something different & inspiring.

It's real mail. Something to hold. Something addressed just to that certain special young person.

Each letter tells a story—whether it's an inspiring case study of a kid who overcame a challenge, a heartwarming narrative about real students tackling real problems, or a lesson about executive function wrapped in language that actually resonates. The goal isn't to lecture. It's to unite. It's to normalize struggle, celebrate growth, and show kids that the skills they're building—focus, resilience, problem-solving—matter deeply.

Beyond the contents, Kidbuilderz creates a small but meaningful pause in the month—a chance to disconnect from screens, connect with creativity, and discover they're part of a larger community of kids doing the same thing across different neighborhoods, cities & countries.

For parents who want to encourage their kids to enjoy the simple things while building confidence and capability, "snail mail" isn't about speed. It's about intention. It’s about something wholesome and optimistic. It's about creating moments that feel thoughtful, personal, and decidedly non-digital—with substance underneath.

1. Who is Kidbuilderz Snail Mail Club suitable for?

2. When will I get my Letter?

I send out Kidbuilderz on the 1st of every month. Members in Canada typically receive it within 3-10 days of sending. If you sign up before the 23rd day of the month, you'll receive the next month's letter. New sign ups after the 23rd of the month will receive their first letter the following month.

3. What if I need to cancel or change my address or billing information?

Email me at hello@jenshirley.com and I will end your subscription or change your address. Make sure to email me before the 23rd of the month so we can adjust your address, update your payment or subscription before sending!

4. What happens if I don't receive my letter?

Sometimes the mail can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. If your Kidbuilderz letter doesn’t arrive, email me at hello@jenshirley.com and I'll make it right, either by resending your letter or refunding you for the month. Please review your receipt to confirm your address is correct as that is often the culprit! :)

The beauty of snail mail is the slow pace and anticipation of every month, however, sometimes mail does get delayed and even lost. If you have not received your letter by the end of the month, please reach out and we can work out sending you a replacement! :)
